Rick Longbottom of Stone Builders Masonry is a master craftsman. Our 15 year old walkway and shifting granite steps and 30 year old stone wall were all in disrepair. Being our third replacement in 30 years we were looking for someone who would build them to last. We were told there was simply no one better for a beautiful, solid stone wall. They were right.

Rick and Eric worked diligently. They notified us when they would not be on site and cleaned the area each day. They were both pleasant and congenial. We were consulted every step of the way and worked out the details together. If we didn’t understand the process Rick would gladly explain until we did so. We even added in a few items.

We couldn’t be happier with the finished project! Friends and neighbors were duly impressed. I’m sure they’ll be getting more calls!

Stone Builders Masonry took a barely functioning area, and turned it into a beautifully integrated space. For the first time the deck isn't isolated from the yard. It looks great, and we're very pleased with the quality of their work. They went above and beyond. We Can't wait to have our friends and family over. It's so nice to have a place for dining(and a place for the musicians). And you might have guessed we have the perfect (also highly functioning) place for the BBQ grill.

Rick is prompt, professional and perfection. I observed the work as it was being done and it is very hard physical work, Stone Builders have a great system working and our job from start to finish took just under two full days. I knew Rick would do a great job and I say this honestly, he takes great pride in his work and works on every project as if it were at his own home. I recommend highly.

Rick replaced my front steps, sidewalk and retaining wall. He had done two other jobs in our neighborhood and I was able to see his work before we hired him and his helper. The final product was beautiful and I couldn't be happier. Considering how wet the spring was this year, I was impressed they came every day possible, prepped, laid stone and cleaned up before they left. If the weather was too rainy, Rick called to cancel the day. When he finished, everything was straight, level and permanent. He was patient in guiding me though the choices for the blocks and stone.. The look was unified and, as I said, beautiful. I received great value from an ethical businessman and have recommended him to my friends and people who drive by to see his work. Why can't all contractors have the same work ethic, reliability and honesty as he does? It makes business much more pleasant when people do their job. Thanks Rick!

We had an excellent experience in April/May of 2017. Rick was very professional and really helped us with the design process. He met with us a few times before beginning the work to fully understand our wishes and to show us different ideas and samples. He completed the project - a retaining wall, new front steps, and a pathway - on time and on budget. We have already received so many compliments to the new additions to our home. After watching Rick work and the meticulous manner in which he built the structures I know it will last long as well.
